There isn’t much good news out there in the economy at the moment and we know times will be tough for many of you. Whilst we will all need to reign the budget in, we’ll still want to find ways to get our mountain bike fix. It’s good for the health, good for the mind and if used as a form of transport it is actually pretty good for the wallet too.
So, here’s what we’re offering, to give you the best value, whilst still making a living ourselves!
Price Match – We are happy to match any genuine price from any UK retailer*. And we don’t mean begrudgingly, mumbling (bloody internet discounters) under our breath whilst taking your hard earned cash. We mean a heartfelt thank you very much for thinking of us, for coming up to our shop when you could have probably sat on the couch and clicked for your item next day. Yes we’ll make a smaller margin but a bit less is always better than nothing and more importantly we get to see the smile on your face when you get your new ‘thing’. Just one caveat… We won’t make a loss to make a sale, some of the big guns can buy a lot cheaper than us. If this is the case we’ll be honest and let you know.

We are a Whyte dealer and happily sell hybrid and gravel bikes as well as e-bikes and mountain bikes. Whether you’re looking to ditch the car, or it’s time to replace your mountain bike, we’ve got you covered. Did you know we can offer finance directly through Whyte? We are also on CycleScheme and we’ll have Klarna set up within the next week or so, allowing you to spread payment on higher ticket items.
Forest Of Dean Lift Share – A cheaper and more environmentally friendly way to get you and your bike to out of town onto some of the best trails locally. Have us taxi you from Ashton Court to Cannop Cycle Centre on days we’re booked in to coach there. Click here to learn more.

Support You Local Bike Shop T-Shirt – Ok, so not really a money saver this one but a way to stand with us and your other favourite independent bike shops. Despite what you may see in the news about bike booms and cash raining down on everyone selling bikes, things have been weird this year and trading conditions have favoured bigger companies with more reserves and more stock. Not a whinge, just reality and a lot of smaller shops could use your custom right now. We’ll soon be taking delivery of a new run of our Support Your Local Bike Shop tees, for the first time in 5 years! Everyday Low Prices – Have I heard that somewhere else? We are lucky to be in the position where a lot of the price rises facing other business are not affecting ours. We will continue to review the situation but there are currently no plans to raise prices on coaching and hire in this financial year.
