The fundamentals of mountain biking aren’t mastered quickly. Learning perfect balance, movement and control around corners and over various terrain is something that you can still be learning many years after your first off-road ride. For this reason, no matter if you’re a rookie or a seasoned weekend warrior; we always recommend you ask us for the fundamentals.

This programme, its drills and techniques can be easily tailored to suit complete beginners or much more confident riders so that everyone can benefit from time with one of our expert coaches.

Full Day: 6 hours
10am-4pm with a break for lunch (9am-3pm in Winter). You can book this for a private group or join a public day for £90pp. We run public Fundamental days every few months.

Half Day: 3 hours
Our most popular option, we keep things simple on the site by only offering 3 hour online bookings. You can book a half day to cover the fundamentals or turn it into a bespoke session by letting us know your exact needs.

Custom: 1 to 6 hours
