British Cycling Let’s Ride – Bath – 19th August

This year as part of British Cycling’s ‘Summer of Cycling’ Pedal Progression are excited to be hosting a Let’s Ride pop up at Entry Hill.

Rock Up, Ride and Race (If you like?)

What’s going on:

There will be three activities to have a go at for different ages and abilities…

  1. Kids Race (Hot Lap) – Mowed and pegged out grass lap: Choose 1 Lap or 2 lap challenge. The 1 lap is aimed at 5-10 year olds, the 2 lap at 11-16 year olds. The tracks will be open to anyone under 16 who wants to have a go, as many times as they like.
  2. Balance Bike Downhill – Using a sloping section of the hot lap, we’ll set out a timed descending track for balance bike riders: Every kid who has a go, get’s a time.
  3. Obstacle Course – Just have a go for fun and to try and improve your skills: We’ll set out an obstacle course, with easier sections and harder sections. Kids can lap around as many times as they like and they’ll be a  coach on hand to give hints and tips.

For the hot lap race and balance bike DH there will be a prize for the fastest time of the day. Everyone will receive a British Cycling Let’s Ride goody bag (subject to availability)

No need to book, just turn up and have a go. If there are lots of people you may have to queue, please follow current social distancing guidelines, or go hang out in the cafe and eat cake until it there is space.
