2019 Santa Ride Report

Last Sunday (15th Dec) I woke up to pouring rain and darkness, feeling no motivation to get out of bed, let alone go riding in a Santa outfit… Luckily, by the time 10am rolled around, the sun had found a break in the stormy clouds and a large group of festively dressed riders loitered out the front of the shop…

Very much in keeping with our ‘Summer Shop Ride‘ etiquette, this was an all abilities ride with no one left behind, so we split, with Ollie riding with the family groups and me with everybody else. Over 40 riders braved rancid conditions and it was so worth it!

We looped Ashton Court before heading to Leigh Woods where we sent Santa trains down our coaching jumps. Prime time for some ‘Rad Santa’ photos!

Once finished laughing, and messing about in the mud, we rode back to the shop for a festive drink, some nibbles and socialising! Unfortunately, many of the outfits, didn’t survive the ride. My trousers a prime example…

Thanks for all who came and joined in with the festive fun. We wish you all an awesome Christmas and New Year, however you’ll be spending it. The shop will be open again from 27th December… We hope to see you soon! HAPPY CHRISTMAS!
