Pedal Premieres Anthill Films ‘The Engine Inside’

Big News, Pedal Premieres are bringing to Bristol what we know will be another epic film night, and we can not wait. Just want to bag your tickets? BOOK NOW. Or find out more about the film below…

The Engine Inside is a new feature length documentary from Anthill Films. It tells the stories of six everyday people from all over the globe who reveal the unique power of the bicycle to change lives and build a better world. Through their stories, the film uncovers the often over looked potential of this 200-year-old machine, exploring it’s impact on a wide range of global issues such as physical and mental health, socioeconomic inequality and climate change. By shining a light on people who have embraced cycling as a way to over come daunting personal and systemic challenges, The Engine Inside ultimately asks viewers to reconsider their own perspective. Is there a transformative power within us all that can be unlocked through the simple act of riding a bike?

The Engine inside is bought to you by Shimano, Pon.Bike and People For Bikes present an Anthill Films production, narrated by the voice of cycling, Phil Liggett. Featuring Jay Bearhead, Nouran Salah, RRD Blocks, Janice Tower, Megan Hottman and Kwabena Danso, with Danny MacAskill and Robert Gesink.

All proceeds from the night will go directly to our local mountain bike trail association Ride Bristol to support the maintenance and development of our Bristol network and it’s thriving community.

We expect tickets to sell fast, so bag yours today. There will also be a raffle on the night. Every entry ticket will come with a raffle ticket, further tickets will be available to buy with your entry ticket (at a reduced price) and will also be available on door.

Do you run a local bike shop or business that would like to donate to the raffle? We’ll make sure you get a ton of shout outs on both Pedal Premieres and Pedal Progression socials AND we’ll holla your name to a room full of people on the night!
