Ride, Sauna, Plunge

What is it?

Every month, we bring together a small group of people for a bike ride, sauna and cold plunge experience.

We meet at Ashton Court, pick up our bikes and ride through Leigh Woods, taking in beautiful views, peaceful forests and optional fun trails for those who fancy a bit of adrenaline before the sauna.

We’ll drop out at the bottom of Leigh Woods (the ride is mostly downhill!) at the aptly named Paradise Bottom, home to some incredible trees you may not even know exist in Bristol. From there, we continue into Leigh Court, where we arrive at Sivo Wellness, an idyllic wellness garden with a sauna, plunge pool, and hot tub.

We’ll have one hour of exclusive use at Sivo for our group (maximum 12 participants, plus 2 – 3 staff).

Afterward, we’ll cycle back to Ashton Court via quiet country lanes and cycle paths. There’s a small uphill section, but nothing too demanding you can choose to ride an e-bike if you like.

Once we’re back at Ashton Court, we’ll say our goodbyes and you’re welcome to book onto next month’s ride if you’d like.

Why do we do this?

Life can feel fast, busy, and increasingly lived through screens. Moments to slow down, be outside, and connect with new people in a natural way don’t happen as often as they used to.

This experience is about creating space to move, breathe, talk, laugh and share something simple but meaningful with others. There’s something special about spending time outdoors together, warming up in a sauna and stepping away from the usual routines for a few hours.

We run these rides because we believe small, shared experiences like this matter. They leave you feeling calmer, more grounded, and a little more connected to yourself, to other people and to the place you live. And honestly, we love being part of that.
